Job description

  • Assist in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle such as technical discovery, product presentations, demonstrations, evaluations, POCs and Benchmarks.
  • Develop and build 1D simulation models to simulate and analyze dynamic systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal, or mechatronic systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and integrate simulation solutions into the product development lifecycle.
  • Interpret simulation results, provide insights, and recommend design modifications to enhance system efficiency, reliability, and functionality.
  • Validate 1D models through comparison with experimental data and real-world testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Continuously improve and maintain simulation models, incorporating updated data and refining models based on feedback and test results.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to teams, troubleshooting simulation-related issues, and proposing innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, control systems, and mechatronics principles.
  • Experience in designing, simulating, and analyzing dynamic systems within relevant industries (automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, etc.).
  • Familiarity with system modeling and simulation techniques, optimization methods, and validation processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey complex technical concepts.
  • Ability to travel frequently

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in using 1D models or similar simulation software for modeling complex dynamic systems.
  • Knowledge of system identification, parameter estimation, and experimental validation techniques.
  • Understanding of industry-specific standards and regulations related to dynamic systems.
