Job description

  • Take the responsibility of all accounts for technical issues related to the use of Simcenter Simulation tools such as STAR-CCM+, Flotherm XT, Simcenter 3D and Simcenter Flomaster and to deliver successful resolution for the issues.
  • Facilitate the sales process by coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle such as technical discovery, product presentations, demonstrations, evaluations, POCs and Benchmarks.
  • Conduct technical discussions with customers to collect and understand simulation requirements, propose suitable solutions.
  • Perform 2D/3D numerical simulations including model development, meshing, apply relevant models which represents the actual physics of the problem and post process the results using CFD tools and also perform benchmark studies to verify and validate the results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and integrate simulation solutions into the product development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate new software capabilities to customers and conduct training on introductory and advanced topics.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's/master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with a focus on computational fluid dynamics.
  • Strong understanding of the concepts of CFD, heat transfer, meshing and 2D & 3D modeling.
  • Familiarity in turbulence models, multiphase flows, thermal management of electronics systems and battery modules.
  • Proficiency in software packages to perform CFD simulation with Multiphysics solvers and design optimization studies.
  • Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in English.
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey complex technical concepts.
  • Ability to travel frequently.

Preferred skills

  • Proficiency in CFD simulation software and tools.
  • Knowledge of fluid volume extraction, geometry simplification, optimization and experimental validation techniques.
